Community Liaison
Cathy has over 30 years of experience helping others. Her career began at the State level in the areas of developmental disabilities, grants and budget management. The “Are You Ready” Training she helped develop through a grant with the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council taught foster/group homes and organizations throughout the State about lessons learned after Hurricane Andrew.
Working at CCDH from 1998-2007 Cathy managed the “Opening Doors to New Consumers and Employees” Project that taught businesses how to welcome consumers with disabilities and the benefits of hiring people with disabilities.
Cathy rejoined CCDH in 2010 as Community Liaison for the ACT Project and works together with ACT Staff and community organizations to provide quality, inclusive services to children with disabilities.
